Hi, I’m Megan — the baker and math professor behind Mugsy’s Baking Equation. Once I moved out with my now-husband, I discovered how much joy I found in creating food from scratch. What started as simple dinners and weekend experiments quickly turned into a love for baking, recipe testing, and finding comfort in the kitchen.

 

Mugsy’s Baking Equation grew slowly from late-night baking sessions, countless batches of rolls, and the encouragement of friends and family who believed in this dream long before it was a business. Our cozy farmstand and home bakery are built on that foundation — homemade comfort with a warm, modern farmhouse feel.

 

The name comes from two things I’m passionate about: baking and math. To me, every recipe has its own “equation” — a balance of patience, creativity, and a little bit of magic — and I love sharing the results with our community.
